Kid Governor® is an award-winning civic education program led by Civic Nebraska and created by The Connecticut Democracy Center.
Founded in 2008, Civic Nebraska creates a more modern and robust democracy for all Nebraskans. Through nonpartisan voting rights initiatives, civic health programs, and award-winning youth civic leadership efforts, Civic Nebraska builds resilient and powerful citizens of all ages across the Cornhusker State.
Civic Nebraska partners with The Connecticut Democracy Center (CTDC), creator of the Kid Governor program. CTDC inspires people of all ages to engage in civic life and strengthen their communities, and envisions a society where everyone is empowered to participate in our democracy.
